Thank you for your interest in my speaking and writing ministry. I've listed some names and phone numbers for more information and insight as to my speaking style/content, etc. Please feel free to call any of the people listed which may be helpful to you. One of the first things I am asked is, "What is your fee?" This is always difficult, because I consider my speaking a ministry and I am reluctant to give hard and fast requirements. However, I am learning how important it is to be a good steward of my time and resources. In trying to keep costs affordable, I handle my own arrangements. I do not have a "required" fee, but give some suggestions that help provide guidelines:
- Expenses paid (airline ticket or gas mileage); extra night's lodging if necessary. I try to get the best price available.
- My fee is negotiable. For a weekend, I have received $750 to $2500, depending on the size of the group and how many times I speak. If the event is local and I can drive there, my fee is less.
- It's helpful to have a book table with a volunteer to help with the book sales.
